Ball State students to premiere rail transit documentary

MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) – Students at Ball State University are ready to debut a documentary they produced about rail transportation.

The (Muncie) Star Press reports that “Indiana Crossrails: A Transit Choice” will premiere Saturday at Ball State’s Indianapolis Center. The documentary’s release coincides with National Train Day, which will include a showcase and open house.

The documentary is part of an awareness campaign about rail transit from rapid urban transit to regional service. BSU students worked with the Indiana Citizens Alliance for Transit and Amtrak. The film includes footage and interviews gathered from extensive travels through Indiana and the U.S.
