Hundreds lose power in multiple Indiana counties

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Hundreds of people were without electricity Monday afternoon as storms moved through Central Indiana.

South Central REMC reported the most significant outage. As of 2:45 p.m., 982 customers were without power in Morgan and Owen counties.

Another 125 customers of Bartholomew County REMC were without power, and 68 Duke Energy customers were without power near Geist.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the outages were caused by the storms.
