Kentucky man’s act of kindness caught on camera

LOUISVILLE (CNN) – A former restaurant worker in Louisville, Kentucky is being recognized for an act of kindness, by a customer who recorded it on video.

Ridge Quarles used to work at Qdoba. While he was still an employee a few weeks ago, he says one of their regular customers came in. She’s a woman who uses a motorized scooter to get around.

Quarles said he asked her if he could do anything else for her, and she said, ‘Can you help me eat?’

So, he started feeding her.

Another customer saw what was happening, and began recording it.

“I said, I don’t know, I think I’ll just send it out to some of my friends and say, ‘There’s still some good people left in the world,” said Dr. David Jones, who recorded the video.

Quarles later spoke about it himself.

“I mean, she needs help and if I wasn’t going to do it, no one was,” he said.

While Quarles now works somewhere else, he says he still keeps in touch with many of his former customers.
