Colts players address deflate gate

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) The Colts players and coaches addressed the media for the first time on Wednesday since learning of Tom Brady’s four game suspension.

“That has to do with New England not us,” said Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton.

Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton echoed a similar sentiment.

“It’s done. It’s behind us,” Hamilton told reporters.

Should Tom Brady’s suspension stand, it could give the Colts an early chance to get ahead in the AFC race.

“When you look at our goals for the year, they have to start with winning the division again,” said Colts backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck.  “From there, once you get that, you can move onto bigger goals, like winning the conference.”

Tom Brady is expected to appeal the decision.  He has until 5 p.m. (Eastern) on Thursday.  As it stands, his first game back would be against the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium on October 18.
