More and more women are enjoying the benefits of cycling. Brian Gootee introduces us to a local Triathlete whose journey will inspire us all.
Rebecca Dobbins is part of the Swim Bike Mom Ambassador Team. As she puts it, she is a mom, wife, nurse, and Triathlete.
I didn’t know to swim properly, could barely bike, tried to run, never thought I’d make it through a 5K. Went from doing a 5K and preparation for the mini-marathon last year…never thought I would make it through it…made it thought it and thought ‘oh my goodness this is amazing!”
Over the last year she has lost 50 pounds and is not working towards an Ironman event.
