Canal goes yellow for Lemonade Day

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Mayor Ballard helped color the canal yellow in honor of Lemonade Day on Saturday.

Lemonade Day Greater Indianapolis began in 2010 after serial entrepreneur and ChaCha Founder CEO Scott Jones was introduced to the national initiative in Texas.

The initiative helps kids learn entrepreneurial skills, by marketing, funding and operating a lemonade stand for a day. Organizers have a goal to have 15,000 people take part tomorrow.

To participate you must sign up. Then kids can set up their stands in their driveway, at one of the local participating parks or one of the sponsored locations.
