Plant nursery inventory sale to benefit learning center

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The public is invited to buy plants, trees, shrubs, hostas and more at a nursery that isn’t usually open to the public, all while helping out a good cause.

The Avon Outdoor Learning Center is a seven-acre property where students have the opportunity to put classroom information into real-world practices.

Hobbs Nursery, which is not normally open to the public, will sell its inventory at wholesale prices on May 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The sale will benefit the learning center.

Hobbs Nursery is located at 1201 S. 1050 E. in Indianapolis.
