IPS holds kindergarten registration events
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Kindergarten registration opens on May 19 at Indianapolis Public Schools.
Parents can attend Race to Kindergarten on May 19 and on May 26 to talk with members of the enrollment team to have their questions answered about the IPS kindergarten programs or the enrollment process.
Enrollment members can also help walk parents through the online enrollment process.
Families will need to have the following items to enroll:
- Student’s birth certificate
- Complete immunization records
- Proof of residence (a lease or utility bill showing your name and current address)
- Parent or guardian’s photo ID
Parents can submit the documents in person or by email.
On May 19 the Race to Kindergarten event is from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Haughville Branch Library and on May 26 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the College Avenue Branch Library.
