Body of man recovered from western Indiana lake

GREENCASTLE, Ind. (AP) – The body of a 50-year-old Vigo County man was pulled out of a western Indiana lake after he fell in during a fishing tournament.

The Banner Graphic reports the body of James Camp of Terre Haute was recovered by a dive team of Indiana conservation officers Sunday morning in Glenn Flint Lake in Putnam County, about 50 miles west of Indianapolis.

Conservation officers said Camp fell in during the tournament. His partner called 911 after Camp did not resurface. Conservation officers are investigating, but foul play is not suspected.
