Man shot on southeast side of Indy, in critical condition

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said that a man was in critical condition after being shot in an alleyway on Saturday night.

According to police, a man was walking in the alley between Pleasant Street and Lexington Avenue. He was approached by another man, who robbed him and then shot him in the upper torso area once.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
