INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There was a tricycle race on Massachusetts Avenue on Sunday, as part of Indianapolis Pride month.

The twentieth annual John Alexander Hoosier 250 race shut down parts of downtown. The organization used the slogan to promote the race stating, “where being a spectacle is part of the spectacle!”

The tricycle winner was congratulated by Mr. and Miss. Circle City IN Pride after the race.

All proceeds that were raised on Sunday will be used for events during the Indianapolis Pride month, which begins on June 5.
