Catching up with A. J. Foyt
SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) — Racing legends can always be seen at the track on race day, but few names carry as much history as A. J. Foyt.
The four-time Indianapolis 500 winner spoke with 24-Hour News 8’s Derek Daly on the morning of the 99th Indianapolis 500.
Foyt, now 80, is a team owner and has three drivers in the race.
Alex Tagliani will start in the middle of row 7.
Takuma Sato will start on the outside of row 8.
Jack Hawksworth will be on the inside of row 10.
