SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) — The wheels on the IndyCars see a lot of wear during the race. Derek Daly stopped by the Firestone Garage to find out how they roll out the race day gear.

Chief Engineer Dale Harrigle said they work with the teams to talk about tire pressure because every tire has a unique pressure.

He also said the temperature when the car comes in is important for the pit crew to know to understand what the tires are doing. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
