Canadian inventor sets new world record
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A Canadian inventor has set a new world record for “Farthest Flight by Hoverboard.”
Catalin Alexandru Duru set the record by gliding over a lake on his homemade hoverboard.
Guinness World Records confirmed he piloted his propeller-powered hoverboard 905 feet, 2 inches. This is more than the length of two full sized football fields.
Duru need to travel the minimum of 164 feet.
The one-of-a-kind hoverboard is similar to an aerial drone.
