Greenfield officer sentenced in OWI case

GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — A Greenfield officer has been sentenced for an OWI in Hancock County.

Terry Austin will be on probation for nearly a year and have his license suspended for 90 days. Austin will also pay fees of nearly $800.

Austin was arrested in August of 2014 after having a blood alcohol level of .10.

In October of 2014, Austin was found guilty of bribery and official misconduct after offering officers a $200 steak dinner to pull over his ex-wife, who he knew to be driving with an expired license.
