Indiana Dunes offers ‘glamping’ experience
CHESTERTON, Ind. (WISH) — Glamorous camping is coming to the Indiana Dunes State Park in June.
The park in northeast Indiana is holding a “glamping” themed weekend on June 5 through the 7. Glamping is a way to experience camping without giving up the comforts of home.
“Glamping” started at the Indianapolis 500 last year and has already become a popular attraction.
The Dunes will offer special classes like beach glass jewelry making, recipe tasting and beach yoga. Representatives say all camping is booked through the weekend, but people visiting for the day can still take part in the activities.
