“Top Chef” judge Gail Simmons shares how to find dining hot spots without breaking the bank

According to the Zagat 2015 Dining Trends Survey where 10,000 avid diners from across the country were surveyed about dining habits, the national average amount of days people go out to eat is 4.5 times per week and the national average amount spent on dinner out was $39.40. The survey also revealed what factors irritate diners the most when dining out and the number one “complaint nationally was service (26%), followed by noise (24%), prices (17%) and crowds (13%).”
