Kelly Clarkson sings karaoke duet with 10-year-old

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A video of a 10-year-old and pop star Kelly Clarkson singing a duet together is going viral .

Ava Davis said after she recognized Clarkson at a local restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee she invited her to sing karaoke with her and Clarkson agreed.

“I thought, hm, what if I ask her to sing karaoke with me?” Davis said. “So I said, ‘Would you do me the honor of singing with me?’ And she said, ‘What song do you want to do?’ And I said, ‘Love Shack.’ And when she said yes, I almost jumped into the water.”

The two sang the B-52’s “Love Shack.”

She said after the big performance, Clarkson signed a T-shirt for her.

Family members say the American Idol star was very gracious.
