Silver Alert issued for missing Owensville man
OWENSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – A statewide Silver Alert was issued Tuesday morning for a missing Owensville man last seen Monday.
The Owensville Police Department is investigating the disappearance of 72-year-old John R. Short.
He’s described as a white male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 184 pounds, with gray hair balding on top and brown eyes.
Police say at the time of his disappearance, Short was wearing a green and cream-colored hat, yellow shirt, blue jeans, and black work boots. He was last seen Monday sometime after 7 a.m. in Owensville.
Police say Short is believed to be in danger and may require urgent medical attention. He’s believed to be driving a white, 2008 Lincoln Mark LT pickup truck with Indiana plate TK523MTW.
