Colts host open mini-camp practice Wednesday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Colts will hold their annual open mini-camp practice Wednesday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
It’s the first chance for fans to see the 2015-2016 team in action. Blue and the Colts Cheerleaders will also be at the big event featuring on-field activities, discounted concessions, and give-aways.
Doors open at Lucas Oil Stadium on Wednesday, June 10 at 2 p.m. On-field activities continue until 4 p.m. and practice will be begin at 5:30 p.m. It’s a free event and free parking is available in the south lot of Lucas Oil Stadium.
“For us, this is really an opportunity to give the fans what they want and give them that interaction and that engagement year-round, so they don’t have to wait until August to see the team and meet the team, but they have these opportunities throughout the year as well,” Colts Senior Director of Marketing Stephanie Pemberton said Tuesday.
Also Wednesday, Lucas Oil Stadium will reopen the Colts Pro Shop with a new design. A ribbon-cutting is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Shoppers will receive a free Colts rally towel with any purchase and the shop will also offer discounts and the chance to enter several contests.
This is also your chance to get a free Colts car flag. Just stop into the Speedway locations listed below to pick up a voucher, while supplies last. Bring that voucher to the open mini-camp practice and you’ll receive your car flag.
