WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — Westfield will open one of their latest roundabouts and a new community initiative.
The new roundabout is located at 156th Street and Spring Mill Road. Construction on the new roundabout began in April and was expected to last for 60 days.
The roundabout will be maintained by the New Joy Lutheran Church as part of Westfield’s newly launched adopt-a-roundabout program.
“We contacted the city with the intention of adopting this roundabout as a project for our congregation, and it seems to have sparked a larger interest city wide,” said Pastor Chris Duckworth.
A brief ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday.
