I-65 back open in Boone Co. after 2 crashes snarl traffic
BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A portion of Interstate 65 in Boone County was re-opened early Friday morning after two crashes late Thursday night.
They happened around 11:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes near State Road 47.
State troopers say one crash involved a Boone County Sheriff’s deputy. The other happened when a semi caught on fire.
The northbound lanes were closed for at least three hours after the crashes. State police say they don’t believe anyone was seriously hurt.
