Great Dane worker injured in plant accident dies

BRAZIL, Ind. (WTHI) – The worker injured at the Great Dane plant in Brazil has died.

23-year-old Levi Snyder was hurt in an accident inside the plant earlier in June.

Emergency workers treated Snyder there. He was then taken to St. Vincent Clay Hospital and transferred to St. Vincent in Indianapolis.

The public relations department at St. Vincent in Indianapolis confirmed Snyder’s death.

Great Dane management and safety officials are working with occupational safety and health administration to figure out the cause of the accident.
