Donald Trump suggests Oprah Winfrey as running mate
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Donald Trump was full of announcements Tuesday. He announced he is running for the Republican Presidential Nomination, and he suggested someone he would like to bring on board.
Trump told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, he thinks Oprah Winfrey would make a great Vice President. He said he thinks it would be an easy win if they were to work together.
Back in 1999, Trump discussed running for President and mentioned Winfrey as a possible running mate.
Winfrey said in 1999 she wasn’t interested in the opportunity.
