Armed, dangerous suspect at large following Columbus stabbing

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) — Columbus police are seeking a suspect in a stabbing from Tuesday night.

Police are searching for 26-year-old Damon Estes in connection to a stabbing in in the 1400 block of Sycamore around 9:08 p.m. Police say Estes should be considered armed and dangerous.

A caller told police that a man had been stabbed and the suspect left the scene.

The stabbing suspect was identified as Sonny Todd, 49. The victim had significant injuries to his torso and chest. He was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital then flown to an Indianapolis hospital.

Todd was listed in stable condition on Wednesday.
