Mom praised for posting photo of post-baby belly

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A singer-songwriter from South Carolina is being praised after she posted a photo of her post-baby tummy on social media.

Kimberly Henderson shared the photo on her Facebook page last week. She wrote that people compliment her figure, saying she has “the perfect body” after having four children. So, she decided to show her followers her “unedited” belly.

Henderson said, at first, she had a hard time accepting her loose skin and stretch marks, but no longer does, because her kids are worth it.

“And I’m not trying to say I have it worse than anyone else, or bad, or anything like that. Just reminding you guys. That your body is beautiful. Because we are moms and we are superheroes and we freakin’ rock, and in my opinion that is sexier than any 6 pack!” she wrote.

Henderson’s post has been liked more than 100,000 times and has exceeded 10,000 shares. Some of her female followers even shared photos under the post of their post-baby bodies.
