Man arrested after hit-and-run seriously injures woman
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man was arrested Thursday after a hit-and-run sent one person to the hospital back on June 16, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
David Witt was taken into custody in Indianapolis without incident.
The hit-and-run injured 23-year-old Jordan Offutt, who had emergency surgery to her head and is still in critical condition.
The recent IU graduate was out running with her dad when the vehicle struck her, family members said.
