INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Thousands of veterans across the country, including many here in Central Indiana, had the chance to receive free dental care Saturday.

More than 300 Aspen Dental offices opened their doors for the special event.

It’s part of the groups healthy mouth movement.

The goal is to offer dental care and oral education to those in need.

This year, Aspen chose to focus on helping veterans.

Last year, Aspen helped nearly 2,000 patients and provided more than a million dollars in free dental care. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
