Tippecanoe Co. bridge work causing I-65 traffic delays

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Bridge work is causing long delays for drivers on Interstate 65 in Tippecanoe County.

One southbound lane of I-65 is closed as crews repair the overpass above Wildcat Creek Bridge. The restrictions are just south of State Road 25 Exit. With only one lane open, drivers should expect delays in the SR 25 area.

Indiana State Police said it is unknown at this time when the project is expected to be complete.

Those traveling through Lafayette are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
