Woman’s body recovered from Ohio River in Harrison Co.
MAUCKPORT, Ind. (AP) – Indiana conservation officers say a woman’s body has been recovered from the Ohio River near the Harrison County town of Mauckport.
They say a person walking along the river bank Sunday afternoon discovered the body about 30 miles southwest of Louisville, Kentucky.
Conservation officers were able to wade into the river and retrieve the body.
It wasn’t immediately clear how long the body might have been in the water.
An autopsy is expected to be performed on Tuesday.
