Amy Schumer says she will be next ‘Bachelorette’ if ABC agrees to conditions

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Fans of “The Bachelorette” might see a comedian as the next Bachelorette, but she said ABC has to agree to some conditions.

Amy Schumer told E! News Monday she would join the show under three conditions, which included a lot of money, she would get to be herself and there would be an improved casting process.

“The casting process would have to be different. It’s like, ‘former investment banker’?! They’re like, ‘flower enthusiast’? You’re like, ‘But what do you do? How come you could leave your life?’ I love when it’s like, ‘I have five kids at home but I just came here to follow my heart.’ It’s like maybe go take care of your kids? I would keep it very real. And I don’t know if it’s good for that show,” Schumer told E! News.

#DraftAmy has been circulating on Twitter after Robert Mills, senior VP of alternative series, specials and late night programming for ABC Entertainment tweeted he wanted Schumer to accept the offer to be the next Bachelorette.

Fans are supporting the idea and trend with #DraftAmy on Twitter.

The idea of Schumer being the next Bachelorette stems from her guest appearance on this season of the Bachelorette with Kaitlyn Bristowe.
