McDonald’s selling McLobster at select locations

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – McDonald’s is now selling Lobster, but only in select locations.

A spokesperson says lobster rolls are being offered at some restaurants in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

The company says the roll has one of the lowest calorie counts for a McDonald’s menu item, at 290. Atlantic lobster meat is married with diced celery, light dressing and shredded lettuce on a soft roll.

The specialty item is available at the select locations through mid-August.

Some people on social media are not impressed.

One person tweeted “McDonald’s new lobster roll is the McRib of seafood.”
