Crawfordsville home damaged during early morning fire

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (WLFI) – No one was injured during an early morning fire that caused major damage to a home in Crawfordsville.

The front porch was on fire when firefighters with the Crawfordsville Fire Department arrived at the house on Green Street just after 2 o’clock Friday morning.

Flames heavily damaged the porch and the rest of the home has heavy smoke damage.

During the fire, a neighboring house sustained damage to its vinyl siding and vinyl fence.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
