Trains being used to tell Indiana’s history

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – As Dick Wolfsie recently found out, trains can be used for more than just hauling materials from point A to point B.

According to Marianne Sheline with the Indiana Historical Society, they can also be used to teach history.

Dick Wolfsie stopped by the Indiana Railroad Company, where he saw two out of the three trains used in the Indiana Historical Society’s Indiana History Train program that ran from 2003- 2008, checked out the new Bicentennial Train, and  talked about many other topics pertaining to the special locomotives.
