Indy murder suspect turns self in

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Detectives in Indianapolis said on Tuesday they have arrested a man for a murder than happened last week.

According to IMPD, 34-year-old Benjamin Faulk was arrested for the murder of 25-year-old Jamie Hines on Thursday, July 2.

Hines was fatally stabbed in the 800 block of Udell Street. Police believe an argument inside the home led to the stabbing.

Police say Faulk turned himself into detectives on Monday, July 6 at IMPD Headquarters. After being questioned, he was arrested on a warrant charging him with murder.

Faulk is currently being held in the Marion County Jail.
