Bones found on Indy’s east side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police are investigating after bones were found on the east side of Indianapolis Thursday morning, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials said.
Officers responded to South Rural Street and Newton Avenue around 11 a.m.
According to IMPD, it’s unclear if the bones are human or not. They said a coroner was called to the scene.
