Parolee arrested for possession of meth in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, Ind. (WISH) — A New Castle man was arrested on preliminary meth charges by the Pendleton District Suppression Team and Indiana State Parole Officers on Wednesday.

Around 6 p.m. officers arrived to a home in the 2900 block of Hillcrest to visit parolee Chadwick Tobias, 27. When they entered the home they found a meth lab and chemicals to make meth.

Tobias was preliminarily charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of the precursors used in the manufacture of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.
