Status of Jared Foundation unclear, website goes blank

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The status of the Jared Foundation is now unclear following the investigation of spokesman Jared Fogle.

On Wednesday the website had no information – only a white screen was displayed. The phone number associated with the foundation was also out of service.

The Jared Foundation was created by Fogle to help kids deal with childhood obesity.

Several police agencies swarmed Fogle’s Zionsville home on July 7. 24-Hour News 8 later discovered the investigation stemmed from a child porn investigation tied to a former employee.

The former executive director of the charity, Russell Taylor, faces charges, including possession of child pornography, child exploitation and voyeurism. Taylor was later let go from his position and remains in federal custody.

Fogle has not been charged. However, Subway suspended their relationship with Fogle amid the investigation.
