INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A “significant amount” of paint spilled onto I-65 in Greenwood Friday evening, according to Indiana State Police.
Police say the spill is believed to have been caused by a ruptured hose from a striping crew.
Twenty to 30 cars traveling in the right lane of southbound I-65 between mile marker 100 and 99 were affected, according to police.
The right lane remained closed for a while as crews cleaned up the paint.
Those who have been affected by the paint have been instructed to contact Gridlock at (317) 541-2727.
