Man arrested, teen found after New Mexico Amber Alert ends in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A man wanted in connection with an Amber Alert out of New Mexico was arrested Sunday evening in Indianapolis, according to Indiana State Police.

ISP arrested Joe Medina, 37, at a Greyhound bus station on Illinois Street in downtown Indianapolis around 7:45 p.m.

24-Hour News 8 sister station KRQE reports an Amber Alert was issued late Saturday in New Mexico for 16-year-old Andrea Lucero.

She was found unharmed with Medina in Indianapolis.

ISP says it was tipped off by Missouri State Police that the pair were on a bus heading to Indianapolis. Troopers were waiting for them as the bus arrived at the Illinois Street bus stop.
