Red Cross opens shelter in Indy for storm victims

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The American Red Cross has opened its downtown Indianapolis headquarters as a shelter for people affected by this week’s storms.

The shelter is located at 441 East 10th Street. Red Cross officials say people can stop by for snacks, meals, or an overnight stay. Residents are also welcome to charge electronic devices, but priority will be given to people with medical devices that require electricity.
