INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The wet weather in central Indiana this summer is not only bad for humans but it is also bad for pets.
Patty Spitler and Holistic Veterinarian Dr. Cathy Alinovi stopped by 24-Hour News 8 at noon to talk about all the insects that accompany this rainy weather and some advice for keeping your pets bug free.
Dr. Alinoivi said to stay away from standing water and puddles since they are a breeding ground for mosquitoes. She also said to check your flee medications since some can be harmful to your pets.
