Deputy marshal arrested for child solicitation
COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) — A Hartsville deputy marshal has been arrested for child solicitation.
50-year-old Lyn Nunemaker of Columbus was taken into custody after allegedly contacting a female child via text message.
Nunemaker was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail without incident after a complaint was made. His home was searched by Indiana State Police after a search warrant was obtained.
Nunemaker faces preliminary charges of child solicitation, a level 5 felony, and communicating matters harmful to a child, a class A misdemeanor.
