Pop tabs collected to benefit Ronald McDonald House
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Volunteers were collecting pop tabs from soda cans Friday morning to help the Ronald McDonald House.
The charity hosts its annual Pop Tab and Coin Drop at Monument Circle. The money from the recycling will be used to support the families who stay at the house, while their children are in the hospital.
Workers say pop tabs can bring in as much as $40,000. You can also drop off loose change. The collection runs until 2 p.m. Friday.
