SWAT called to early morning disturbance

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Just after 12:30 a.m., the Indianapolis Metropolitian Police Department responded to a disturbance.

The incident, which happened in the 3700 block of Salem Street, involved a man who was pointing a gun at several people inside a house.

Crews were on the scene for several hours before SWAT entered the house and discovered the suspect was not inside the residence.

Soon after the suspect, Johnny White of Indianapolis, was captured and taken into custody in the 3600 block of Salem Street.

Police are still investigating this case.
