Union Jack Pub offers deal for Chow Down Midtown
Get those taste buds ready! It’s about time for Chow Down Midtown! One of this year’s restaurants, Union Jack Pub, is offering a value-priced menu for the big event, and they stopped by our kitchen this morning to make a couple of their featured dishes, including the popular deep-dish pizza and the Bohemian sandwich!

Two-week dining extravaganza to run July 13 – 26
New to this year’s event will be an online cocktail contest featuring special recipes featuring Hendricks Gin developed by employees from participating Chow Down Midtown restaurants. Recipes will be posted from Monday, July 6 – Sunday, July 19 on the Chow Down Midtown Facebook page and the recipe with the most likes will be the winner. The grand prize will be a ride on the Hendricks Gin blimp and $200.
For two weeks, attendees will be able to experience fare from more than 40 participating restaurants in the eclectic Midtown are from: 65th St. to the north, Fall Creek Parkway to the south, Illinois St. to the west and Keystone Ave. to the east.
The list of participating restaurants and menus will be posted soon at www.ChowDownMidtown.com. Also, updates will be listed on the Chow Down Midtown Facebook page and on Twitter via the handle @chowdownmidtown.
