INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — There will be a large school supply drive and collection on Monument Circle Wednesday, just in time for back to school.

The Indianapolis Bar Association will be on the Circle from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. collecting new or gently used school and office supplies for local students and teachers.

The drop-off is the culmination of local organizations and law firms’ efforts to collect donations for the upcoming school year.

It’s a fun competition to see who can collect the most supplies to benefit Teachers’ Treasures, a program operating since 2000 that connects teachers with free supplies they can use to help their students. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
