IMPD searching for suspect in NE side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were responding to the scene of a person shot on Thursday morning.

According to IMPD dispatchers, a victim was shot, but they were talking when medics arrived to the scene. It is not clear how badly the victim was hurt.

The shooting happened near East 42nd Street and Edmonson Avenue around 7:50 a.m.

Police say they are looking for the suspect who fired the shots.
