FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) – Residents in Hamilton County should expect to see new speed limit signs and stop signs in Fishers by the end of July.
Many signs will be placed in front and around three large subdivisions: Spy Glass Hill, Brookston Place and Britton Ridge.
The limit is changing from 30 to 25 in hopes to slow down traffic to increase pedestrian safety.
“We are evolving and growing. It is important for people to live in a safe environment. I believe this small change will make a big difference,” said Mayor Scott Fadness.
There will be 40 signs placed by Monday. To view the list of locations, click here.
