INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two more men have been arrested in the local and federal investigation of the Block Burners gang.

United States Attorney Josh Minkler tweeted that William Brown and William Dodd had been captured in Kentucky.

Agents called Brown the ringleader of the gang.

Both men were fugitives following a sweep that saw 35 people arrested last week.

Officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI confirmed around 525 officers were out assisting in the investigation, including 19 SWAT teams.

Of the 35 people arrested, 20 were members of the Block Burners gang. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
